  • Ever since the firing of Gina Carano, there has been no updated news about their announced series, Rangers of the Republic.
  • When speaking with Empire magazine recently, Kathleen Kennedy said that, "We'd never written any scripts or anything on that".
  • It's also been reported by Variety that Rangers of the Republic is not in active development and is no longer on the roster of original series coming to Disney+.
  • Many fans were upset that it was announced that Kathleen Kennedy has recently re-upped her contract with Disney for several more years.
